Grant Machum (B. Comm, LL.B) is a Partner at Stewart McKelvey practicing in the area of Employment and Labour Law. He has brought expertise in the area of Governance. Grant previously practiced at a National Law Firm in Toronto. Grant and his family (originally from New Brunswick) moved to Nova Scotia in 1998. Grant is a long time supporter of arts in his community and nationally. He is currently the Chair of the Board of Governors at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University as well as Chair of its Governance Committee. He is also a Board member and Chair of Governance at Telefilm Canada and a member of the Board of Prescott Group. In his more distant past, as a university student, Grant worked during the summers for the Saint John Symphony assisting in fundraising. Grant and his wife Jane are actively involved in numerous community fundraising events. They have four teenage children. Grant’s interests include sailing, skiing, and travel.
Grant is currently serving a one-year term (until 2016) on the Board.
