Kathleen Franklin  

Kathleen Franklin is the Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs and Registrar for CPA Nova Scotia. She graduated from Dalhousie University and earned her Chartered Accountant designation with Coopers & Lybrand in Halifax.

Kathleen started volunteering with Symphony Nova Scotia’s Finance Committee in 2015. Growing up in a musical family, she attained her Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Certification and played the oboe throughout school in various concert bands.

Kathleen resides in Dartmouth with her husband Rob. She enjoys cheering on her children’s athletics and dedicated 10 years to coaching their basketball team, the ABA Celtics. Kathleen is still passionate about music,  and she enjoys playing her baby grand and spending time outdoors.

Joined the Board in 2021. Entering the first year of a two-year term (until 2024) on the Board.
