Beth Elliot

Production Manager

Beth Elliot is a freelance production manager, stage manager, and technical director new to the east coast. She is a proud graduate from Ryerson University’s performance production program. Up until this point she has devoted her career to theatre, dance, music, and all other various productions that happen to find her. Starting off as a theatre house technician there is not a lot she has not tried or knows nothing about. She values communicating and sharing knowledge with others. She is excited for the new challenge of taking on the position of Production Manager with Symphony Nova Scotia.

What’s your favorite quote?
“Theatre is easy; people are hard.” – Andrea Surich

What’s your favorite indulgence?
Tough one! A wonderful evening out with endless crafted cocktails and tasty appetizers. Or a cozy night in with homemade pizza, wine, and popcorn. Or after a long day a peanut butter mug cookie and a cold glass of milk.

Which concert are you looking forward to most next season?
I am looking forward to every show next season! With it being my first season, each show will be a new adventure for myself.

What’s your favorite food(s)
Dip or sauce of any kind. If there is a sauce to go with a food item, sign me up! If there are multiple, I must try them all! I am the person that is holding up the line confusing staff on how many sauces I have ordered.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love going for walks in places I haven’t been. I also like hiking, camping, bonfires, painting, biking, keeping my house plants alive, tidying, and organizing.

Who’s your favorite person in the world?
My favorite person in the world is my partner, Ryan. But the OG favorites would be my family which includes my mother, father, and brother. When I was a teenager, we started to go Geocaching and that is when we came up with our team’s name Core 4. Which has stuck ever since.

What’s your favorite book(s)?
My favorite book at this moment is my new cookbook One Pan, Two Plates by Carla Snyder. It is the best cookbook for two people. It has excellent detailed ingredient lists that are easy to find. Great instructions that allow you to clean as you are cooking. Not to mention all the meals I have prepared so far have been fantastic! It tastes as if you are treating yourself to a delicious take-out order.

What are you listening to right now?
Sammy Rae and Friends, Allen Stone, Lawrence, Lake Street Dive, and Silk Sonic.
