Featuring
Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, conductor
Symphony Nova Scotia

Did you know that music can help us understand how we feel? Come join Symphony Nova Scotia and discover all the ways that music can express mad, sad, glad, and more. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how music moves us – and you’ll be sure to have a smile on your face!

We welcome children on the autism spectrum and their parents. Our family shows are designed to be participatory, relaxed, and informal. We encourage children to be active and involved in our orchestral performances. Vocalizations, movements, and taking breaks are all part of the fun!

"Watch your children come alive as they hear music picked, played, and presented with their needs in mind. It will be a treat for them and a treat for you, and the beginning of a lifelong love of music!"

–Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, Family concert conductor
