Family Series: New Scotland

Concert Information

Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, conductor
Symphony Nova Scotia

Join Symphony Nova Scotia and celebrate the music of New Scotland! From jolly jigs and reels to lilting laments, we explore the traditional tunes of the Highlands. Complete with live step-dancing and bagpipes, it’s a fun, feisty kitchen party for the whole family!

We welcome children on the autism spectrum and their parents. Our family shows are designed to be participatory, relaxed, and informal. We encourage children to be active and involved in our orchestral performances. Vocalizations, movements, and taking breaks are part of the fun!

Registration is free for families with children. Seating is first-come, first-served. Registration will open after August 1st, 2018!

Please note: this program will also take place on January 15 at Paul O’Regan Hall as part of the Berkeley Seniors’ Concert Series! Click here to learn more.
