Handel’s Messiah is a magnificent, electrifying masterpiece, and a highlight of the Christmas season for millions around the world every year. Now, experience the beauty and joy of Handel’s great oratorio with the acclaimed Canadian bassoonist/conductor Mathieu Lussier, who’s earned raves from Halifax audiences for his exciting conducting, stellar musicianship, and “energy, enthusiasm, humour, and talent.” Together with four guest vocal soloists and the 80-voice Symphony Chorus, Mathieu and Symphony Nova Scotia proudly present an energetic, uplifting interpretation of Handel’s glorious holiday favourite.
