The Ninth. It’s been called Beethoven’s last grand experiment, the pinnacle of western classical music, and the symphony to end all symphonies. What better reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope prevails than to listen to what is one of the most often played and easily recognizable pieces of music of all time.
