Handel’s Water Music is one of the Baroque era’s smash hits – a festive, jolly masterpiece that’s been beloved by audiences ever since its royal riverboat premiere 300 years ago. Now, hear its bright, open-air sound and toe-tapping tunes – including its signature, sailor-inspired Alla Hornpipe – live with Symphony Nova Scotia and acclaimed baroque specialist Jonathan Cohen, Music Director of Quebec’s Les Violons du Roy. Also, our orchestra welcomes JUNO Award-winning cellist/gambist Elinor Frey to explore the Baroque viola da gamba, an upright string instrument that enjoyed great popularity during the Baroque period.

• You’ll need to choose a Delivery Method:
  • If you choose “Hold at Box Office”, you’ll need to pick up your tickets when you arrive, up to 1 hour before the concert. We recommend this for easy exchanges throughout the season!
  • If you choose “Mail”, your tickets will mailed to you
  • If you choose “Print at Home”, your tickets will be included with your confirmation email as a PDF attachment.
