The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra is “Canada’s tiny, perfect chamber orchestra” (Toronto Star). With a rich history of regular touring, new commissions, and accessible, eclectic repertoire, it’s been acclaimed for its “satiny sound” (Ottawa Citizen) and praised as “an excellent string ensemble conducted with crispness and verve by Anne Manson” (San Francisco Chronicle).

Now, for the first time ever, the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra brings some of central Canada’s favourite and most gifted musicians to Halifax. Hear Haydn’s delightful Symphony No. 45 and Mozart’s brilliant Symphony No. 29, performed alongside brand-new works from Canadian star composers Vivian Fung and Kevin Lau in this intimate, tour de force concert experience.
