Dig deep into symphonic music with intimate masterclasses with guest artists and our own musicians throughout the season.

FREE and open to the public – a three-hour conducting masterclass with Dinuk Wijeratne and the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra, featuring participants Claire Ahern and Jared Mosher. The NSYO is happy to make this educational opportunity available for public viewing. In this session, Dinuk will discuss and deconstruct various aspects of conducting technique and musical gesture, with a view to deepening our understanding of the relationship between conductor and orchestra.
