What’s the process for dealing with my remaining 2019/20 tickets?

If you haven’t already, you can either exchange your remaining 2019/20 tickets for a future performance over the next two seasons, or receive a charitable tax receipt for the value of the tickets. Here is how to do that:

Donate your tickets to Symphony Nova Scotia at this challenging time.

As we face this uncertain and difficult situation, your support is more important than ever. All ticket donations will receive a charitable tax receipt for the value of the ticket. To donate your tickets, please email info@symphonyns.ca with the subject: RECEIPT.

We’ll need your tickets in order to process your request. Here’s how to get them to us:

  • If your tickets were at the Dalhousie Arts Centre Box Office, not to worry — we’ve picked them up!
  • If you have your ticket(s), please scan or take a photo of each ticket and include it with your email. The front of each ticket must be visible and legible, including Event, Row/Seat, Price, Date, and Time.
  • Alternately, once our admin office re-opens, you are welcome to mail your tickets to us — see below for more details.

Please note, tax receipts can only be issued in the name of the ticket buyer. We are committed to issuing charitable tax receipts by December 31, 2020. Thank you for your understanding.

Exchanges need to be arranged through the Symphony Nova Scotia Admin Office, and not the Dalhousie Arts Centre Box Office.

We have increased staffing on our Patron Services team in an effort to respond to a high volume of inquiries.

We are replying to emails in the order in which they are received, and it could take several weeks for us to respond to your email. We ask that you please wait to hear from us. We will respond to all inquiries, and appreciate your patience at this time.

No mail, please!

Due to our office closure, we encourage you to please refrain from mailing any tickets to us at this time. If you’ll need to mail your tickets to process your exchange or tax receipt, please let our staff know via email at info@symphonyns.ca, and we’ll contact you when you can put your tickets in the mail. Thank you for your understanding!
