Claire Boudreau

Claire is in her third year of playing with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. This year is very special to her, because she gets to play with both her brother and sister in the orchestra. She has been playing violin since before grade school and has never stopped since. This year marks her last year in school, and she will be taking her International Baccalaureate exam in late spring. In her free time, she loves reading on diverse subjects, or for the sake of a good story. Her favorite author is Haruki Murakami. She also enjoys watching documentaries, videos and films (they are the visual version of a book), and is over the moon about playing La gazza ladra overture, because it appears in Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange. She is excited for the new season and is really looking forward to playing new repertoire. Let’s spring into the season with great enthusiasm!
