Ellie Eastwood has been interested in music since she was very young. She started taking violin lessons from Symphony Nova Scotia violist Yvonne DeRoller at the age of 6, and switched to viola when she was 10. Ellie has played in the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts Orchestra for four years, and this will be her second year in the NSYO. In Ellie’s spare time, she rides horses, and she plans on pursuing an education in animal sciences.
