Evan is a Grade 12 student at NNEC in New Glasgow, NS. This is his fourth season with the NSYO. Evan joined the NSYO at the end of the 2021/22 season for the NSYO’s presentation of Light in the Forest, and has been hooked ever since! Evan plays the trombone in his school jazz and concert bands, as well as the Nova Scotia Youth Wind Ensemble. Evan also enjoys singing; in addition to the NNEC Choir program, Evan was excited to be part of the Nova Scotia Youth Choir in 2025. A regular presence in NNEC’s musical productions, this year he played Troy Bolton in NNEC’s production of High School Musical. Evan was thrilled to attend New England Conservatory’s Summer Orchestra Institute in the summer of 2025, and is looking forward to another amazing season with the NSYO!
