Gaia Kupitman is a 13-year-old clarinet player. She’s been playing clarinet since she was seven, and she was part of the youth orchestra in her hometown for the past four years. She is also a self-taught piano player, and she has been working on her skills through the past few years.

Gaia was born in Israel and moved to Canada with her family in 2021. After moving to Nova Scotia, Gaia took part in the school band, as well as several Shakespearean plays.

This is Gaia’s first season in the NSYO.
