Irene is a Grade 11 student in the International Baccalaureate program at Halifax West High School. She began studying violin at the age of eight under the guidance of Ms. Lauren Klein and has continued her musical journey ever since. She has performed with the Presto Orchestra under Susanne Brown and is in her third season with the Chamber Orchestra at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts under Celeste Jankowski. This year is her first with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra, and she is thrilled to be part of the ensemble!

Beyond music, Irene enjoys reading, represents her school in badminton, and has participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival.
