Katie is thrilled to be starting her first year with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. She began playing French Horn in grade 6 and currently studies with Mary Lee of Symphony Nova Scotia. In addition to the orchestra, Katie plays with the Nova Scotia Youth Wind Ensemble.

A Grade 11 student at Citadel High School, Katie is also an avid singer. She sings with Soundtrax, directed by Dr Frances Farrell, and with the Nova Scotia Youth Choir. When she’s not practicing her horn, Katie enjoys listening to music, reading and spending time with family and friends.
