Lauren Inglis

My name is Lauren Inglis, and this is my second year playing trombone with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. Growing up, I have enjoyed playing piano and singing, and I began trombone after joining my middle school band. Since then, I have had many great opportunities to play in bands and small ensembles, including three years with the Nova Scotia Youth Wind Ensemble, two high school bands and our local concert and swing bands. Being part of the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra has been a new and exciting experience. My favourite part has been meeting other young, talented musicians and working on a variety of different pieces that are not only fun to play, but also give us challenges to work on together and overcome. I am so excited to be returning to the orchestra this year!
