May 19-21, 2017

Last year’s Blue Nose Marathon was incredible! Our Symphony Striders team was the biggest yet with 100 runners signed up. And we surpassed our fundraising goal of $20,000 to help support our education and outreach eventsClick here to hear from one of last year’s runners about why she fundraised for the Symphony.

Here’s how you can get involved!

  1. REGISTER FOR A RACE – run in the 5 K, 10 K, half-marathon, full-marathon, or the Youth Run (2 or 4 K). Click the “register” button on the page.
  2. JOIN OUR TEAM – we’re hoping to get even more members on our team than last year!
  3. FUNDRAISE – once you’ve signed up for a race, sign up to fundraise on behalf of the Symphony!
  4. DONATE – Help us reach our fundraising goal by checking out our Symphony Striders page and donating to the Symphony, the team, or a team member.

Thank you for your support – we’re looking forward to another awesome event this year!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR BLUE NOSE CHAIR, SANDY RUTLEDGE

10k and Half Marathoners 2016
“Happy New Year 2017!

“Over the past few years we have grown our participation in the Scotiabank Blue Nose Charity Challenge from 30 to 100 team members; raising tens of thousands of dollars for youth music programs and winning awards doing it! (Symphony Striders won Biggest Fundraising Team 2 years in a row!)

“Congratulations and a HUGE thank you. I hope you have had as much fun being involved as I have. So much fun that we are all ready to join in again May 19 – 21! Register now as rates will go up!

“I am pleased to introduce you to our 2017 Team Captain Jordan Fisher (already registered for the 10 K run). He is available to help you with registrations, questions, fundraising ideas, and invites to our team events (like the shirt pick-up night at Garrison Breweries).

“I look forward to training and running with all of you to support our youth programs like Link up, Family Series, school concerts, and more.”
