Our Foundation

Symphony Nova Scotia is supported in part by the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation, an independent capital fund supervised by a voluntary Board of Trustees.

The Foundation exists to provide a reliable source of funding to support exceptional projects, protect the Symphony from fluctuations in annual resources, and ensure that the orchestra’s music will live on for future Nova Scotians to enjoy.

Each gift to the Foundation increases the annual interest income which is available to support the music of Symphony Nova Scotia.

Meet the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation’s Board of Trustees

Our voluntary Board of Trustees is made up of volunteers and past Board of Directors Chairs who are committed to thoughtful and careful management of the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation. We’d like to thank our voluntary team of past Board of Directors chairs for their careful, responsible stewardship of the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation.
