We’re deeply disappointed to announce that our free Afternoon Delights performance at Pride, originally scheduled for Sunday, July 22, has been cancelled due to suboptimal weather conditions. Many of our musicians’ instruments are very sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and moisture, and we’re committed to ensuring we don’t place their personal property and livelihoods at risk.

We apologize to our supporters  who  were looking forward to this event, and invite them to join us at our other free Summer Symphony performances. We’re very grateful to our partners and friends at Halifax Pride for their understanding and support.

Halifax Pride’s Katchup pancake brunch has also been cancelled, though many other Pride events will continue throughout the day. See the most up-to-date information here.
