An update on our winter season from our CEO

Dear friends,

Once again, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support of Symphony Nova Scotia. We’ve been humbled and awed by the generosity of our incredible community, and we remain deeply grateful for your patience, kindness, and encouragement.

As you can imagine, these past few weeks have presented some roadblocks for our upcoming plans. We’ve been eagerly looking forward to sharing more music with you live in the concert hall this winter – but as always, the safety of our artists, friends, patrons, and broader community continues to be our top priority.

Therefore, for the months of January and February, we invite you to once again join us online! We’ll continue to present a variety of free, accessible musical activities for all ages, including several more of our highly popular Fusion Sessions concerts, more episodes of our “Enough Room” podcast, and a mix of education, outreach, and learning opportunities. Please stay tuned to our emails and social media channels for full details.

We also remain ready and eager to return to live performances as soon as we’re able, and we’re looking forward to announcing an exciting spring concert lineup soon! As always, our live performances will continue to put your safety first, with comprehensive vaccination, masking, and distancing protocols in place for all attendees.

On behalf of our Symphony family, we wish you health and wellness in these coming weeks, and we hope to see you again in person later this spring.

Sincerely,

Christopher Wilkinson, CEOSymphony Nova Scotia
