Alderney Landing houses a professional, fully-equipped 285 seat theatre, which is host to professional performance and dance groups from around the world, as well as clients and communities in Nova Scotia.

The theatre was constructed as an integral part of the Alderney Landing complex, a cultural convention centre carefully designed to beat in the heart of downtown Dartmouth and fulfill the area’s stirring promise of economic and cultural revitalization.

Because of its unique, profoundly adaptable design, the theatre has been used for a wide variety of purposes since its construction, from dinner theatre to stadium seated giant-screen arcade games to a dance and reception hall for countless weddings; and of course in its first role as a top-rated music, dance, and theatre space.

Where can I park?
Alderney Landing has ample metered parking in the parking lot outside of the building (2 Ochterloney St.), and on surrounding Downtown Dartmouth streets. Free parking is available on evenings and weekends; please note the posted times.
