What if I can’t make it?
If you can’t make it to a performance, don’t worry. It happens.
Please call the Dalhousie Arts Centre box office at 902.494.3820 or 1.800.874.1669 when you know you won’t be able to make it. We’ll be happy to exchange your tickets for another Symphony Nova Scotia concert within the same season. The 2025/26 season ends on May 9, 2026.
Please note, we require one business day’s notice to exchange tickets, and require your original ticket(s) in order to process your exchange. To make this process easier for everyone, we strongly recommend leaving your tickets on hold at the Box Office. That way, you’ll still be able to pick them up before your concert – and if you need to exchange, you won’t need to go to the Dalhousie Arts Centre to do it.
If you’re unable to request your exchange at least one business day prior to your performance, you can request a tax receipt for the value of your tickets. We will require your original ticket(s) in order to process your tax receipt. To request a tax receipt, please email Guest Services at [email protected] or 902.421.1300, or mail your original ticket(s) to the Symphony Nova Scotia admin office.
Please note, exchanges are subject to availability and are not applicable for concerts sold outside of the Dalhousie Arts Centre Box Office. In our 2025/26 season, this applies to Wolfville: Mozart & Beethoven’s Seventh, Amherst: Bach & Friends, and Lunenburg: Purcell’s King Arthur & The Fairy Queen.
Exchanges are ticket-based. You will be exchanging each ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value. In our 2025/26 season, exchanges are not available for Two Orchestras Play Berlioz or Symphony Nova Scotia Presents Jeremy Dutcher & The National Arts Centre Orchestra.
If you still have questions, please contact Guest Services at [email protected] or 902.421.1300.
