Notice of Annual General Meeting

Halifax/K’jipuktuk, NS – The 2022/23 Annual General Meeting of Symphony Nova Scotia will report on the 2022/23 season and will include the election of the 2023/24 Board of Directors.

  • Place: Dalhousie Arts Centre, Sculpture Court (streamed live on YouTube)

Everyone is welcome to attend, although only members of the Symphony Nova Scotia Society are entitled to vote at the meeting. Memberships are open to everyone and can be purchased for $11.50 by phone at 902.421.4413.

SYMPHONY NOVA SCOTIA REGULATIONS

By-law No. 2: A person may be admitted as a member of the Society upon:

  • Payment of such amount as the Directors may from time to time determine;
  • Such person advising the Secretary or such employee of the Society as the Secretary may select as to her or his full name, address, and occupation.

By-law No. 3: Each member shall pay to the Society annual dues in the amounts as the Directors may from time to time determine such dues shall be payable to the Treasurer at or prior to the Annual General Meeting of members. A person who becomes a member during the Year shall pay the full dues for that Year.

By-law No. 28: No person may be elected a Director of the Society unless she or he is a member of the Society.
