Breton Hickey is in his third year of a Bachelor of Music degree at Acadia University. He has been playing the tuba for nine years. For the last five years, he has been taking private lessons from Bob Nicholson. Breton aspires to perform in a renowned orchestra or ensemble in the future. He has been involved and played with the Nova Scotia Youth Wind Ensemble, The Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra, and The National Youth Band of Canada. This season will be Breton’s second season with the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra.
