Maria is a grade 12 student in the IB program at Charles P Allen High School, and this
is her second season in the NSYO!

She’s been playing violin for eight years now, and cannot wait to get started on another
year of music. She is a part of the Lakes and Locks program in Fall River, where she is
Concertmaster of the senior orchestra.

Apart from violin, she also plays the alto saxophone, and she will be in her third season at NSYWE this year.

She also loves to sing, both as a soloist and with her choir, the Cantatrice Honor Choir.
When she’s not making music, Maria can be found playing badminton, sprinting, and
competing in math contests. She looks forward to meeting everyone!
