Michael Conway
Michael Conway is a lawyer practising at Barteaux Labour and Employment Lawyers Inc. His practise focuses on advising employers on a wide range of matters, including workforce planning and management, employment and labour litigation, and collective bargaining. Before working in Halifax, Michael worked and practised for several years in Ottawa and Kingston, Ontario. He’s a graduate of Carleton University (Bachelor of Commerce) and attended law school at Queen’s University in Kingston. Most recently, Michael returned to Queen’s to complete and receive a Master of Business Administration, where he was awarded the University Medal for Highest Standing.
While far from an accomplished musician, Michael grew up in Ottawa playing the piano and learning to appreciate those more musically gifted. He recently moved to Halifax with his wife Allison and dog Rex and have been enjoying the beauty, and everything else, that Nova Scotia has to offer.
Joined the Board in 2023. Entering the first year of a one-year term (until 2024) on the Board.
