Symphony Nova Scotia presents FREE concerts during Symphony Week

Halifax/K’jipuktuk, NS – Symphony Nova Scotia kicks off its 40th anniversary season with a series of free concerts and special events during its 16th annual Symphony Week! Symphony Week will take place from Sunday, September 10 to Sunday, September 17.

The festivities will feature Symphony Nova Scotia performing free, live concerts at venues like Alderney Landing in Dartmouth, the Halifax Central Library’s Paul O’Regan Hall, and Halifax Stanfield International Airport. These concerts for all ages will be conducted by Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, the Symphony’s Artist in Residence and Community Ambassador.

With free, live, family-friendly performances in accessible public spaces, Symphony Week is an incredible opportunity for Nova Scotians to come together and experience the joy and excitement of live symphonic music,” says CEO Chris Wilkinson.
