Symphony Nova Scotia
On the program

Music by Mozart, Bellini, and Puccini, along with hits by Dolly Parton, Nina Simone, and more.

After our hugely popular, ground-breaking, multi-performance collaboration with Thorgy Thor, Symphony Nova Scotia is thrilled to continue paving the way for greater 2SLGBTQIA+ representation and celebration in the orchestral world with New York drag queen, singer, and performer Monét X Change. Rising to fame after competing in the 10th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and winning season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Monét – who is known for her quick wit, powerful vocals, comedic chops, high-energy performances, and (of course) her pussycat wigs – performs music by Mozart, Bellini, and Puccini, along with hits by Dolly Parton, Nina Simone, and more.

* This performance may include strong language or content elements which might not be suitable for viewers under the age of 14. Parents are encouraged to exercise discretion.

** The April 25 concert is part of the Maritime Fusion Series subscription.
