The East Pointers
Martin MacDonald, conductor
Symphony Nova Scotia
Hits like Wintergreen, Stronger Than You Know, We Will Meet Again, Goolaholla, and more.

JUNO Award-winning PEI folk band The East Pointers are musical trailblazers, known for their energetic, eclectic blend of traditional Celtic music with modern folk, pop, and dance. The critically-acclaimed group took home three ECMAs in 2023 alone. Now, they make their orchestral debut with Symphony Nova Scotia in an innovative fusion of rich vocal harmonies, furious energy, and groundbreaking orchestral arrangements of hits like Wintergreen, Stronger Than You Know, We Will Meet Again, Goolaholla, and more. Don’t miss this boundary-pushing, genre-redefining season finale concert where the past and future of East Coast folk music collide in a grand symphonic celebration.
* The May 9 concert is part of the Maritime Fusion Series subscription.
